Participating in a CoronaVirus Crisis support group will provide the opportunity to bring together people who are going through similar experiences, talk openly and honestly about feelings, worries, and concerns, share and learn new skills and tools to cope with challenges and gain a sense of empowerment and hope by being together with other community members and supporting each other.
In light of the current situation, Shomrim would like to advise the community of the following actions we are taking:
- Mobile surveillance systems are being deployed in strategic locations
- Additional patrols are being established
- Continued direct interaction with city and county police.
- Daily direct contact with city, county and state agencies tasked with leading our city through this situation.
- We are in touch daily with our rabbinical advisory board.
